It is with pleasure that I extend to you a warm welcome to Applied Technology Schools, Abu Dhabi Female Campus (AUH-G). At AUH-G we believe that education is not just a process of giving knowledge for a future job but a lifelong process which creates an understanding of moral and ethical values to guide one’s life in a right path. Success for all students is ensured at our school by the delivery of an enriching, student centered, balanced and structured curriculum and a whole school focus on student welfare that focuses on the positive recognition of student achievements.

Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced educators who are committed to supporting each student’s learning experience through quality instruction and guidance that addresses the needs of the individual child. Teachers work to provide students with differentiated support that address each student’s specific needs both academically and socially.

AUH-G students have a sense of purpose; they are engaged, thoughtful, sensitive, and caring citizens. By providing students a sense of community, selflessness and empowering them to overcome challenges, we initiate them into collaboratively creating solutions for world problems and inspiring those around them to concur their preverbal walls. In addition, our students are active participants in their education by engaging in various learning activities. By availing of various leadership opportunities, they develop self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making skills. Keeping this in mind AUH-G has committed to the digital revolution that shall transform every aspect of student life in the classrooms and outside and also contribute to moving away from the traditional way of communicating to the digital system. In the “one-to-one iPad program” implemented at AUHG, students learn to capture and demonstrate their understanding through multiple creative pathways. Various modes of reflective practice, including digital reflection journals, and Visible Thinking Routines help teachers assess student thinking and growth.

Our constant endeavors in personalizing learning through technology has resulted in our school obtaining the title of “Apple Distinguished School”, a distinction, an honor and a testament to the dedication of our faculty and students in their pursuits of meaningful, connected 21st century learning experiences. Additionally, at AUH-G, we recognize that family and community support are integral to our success. This is why we encourage PARENTS to join us our PTSA, heritage club or other avenues. Parents/Guardians play important roles in a student’s success and we invite all parents to collaborate with us in their education. AUH-G is a place where excellent teaching and learning is the norm. I am truly honored to be a part of this Community.
